About The Providers Playbook
My mother passed in late 2025. Watching the end of her life, I asked myself one question: "What are you afraid of?"
The honest answer was that I was only afraid of starting. So I started. I launched The Providers Playbook on Substack and got this website soon after.
I'm the sole financial provider for my wife and our three kids. That was a choice we made together. My wife was, and still is, a great salesperson, but she decided to make raising our family her life's work. Most of what I write comes from carrying that role: the decisions, the pressure, the wins, and the lessons I pick up along the way.
I'm curious by nature, so now and then I'll write about something else that grabs me. It's all in the playbook.
About that photo. It's 100% real, and my wife took it on a family vacation. The lightning is the energy I bring to my family, my life, and providing, and it reminds me that storms will come. The rainbow is the promise I made to my family to provide the best I can. The three ships are my three kids. When I saw it, I figured the universe was pushing me in this direction.
If you're a provider, I hope something here helps you, and I'd love to hear what you've learned too. If you know a provider who could use this, send it their way.
Let's get ready to give our best.
